Yoga
Namaste. I am a certified yoga instructor registered with Yoga Alliance (RYT 200). I have been practicing yoga on and off for over 20 years and actively teaching since 2017. You will find more information about my credentials and philosophy below.

I completed my yoga teacher training through Yoga Quest University in January 2017 with 200 RYT. Since then I have continued my yoga education with trainings in Kids Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yin yoga, and Trauma-informed yoga. This is in addition to the many workshops, webinars, and research I am continually engaging in.
I am certified with Yoga Alliance. You can find my teacher profile here. I have taught yoga at spiritual retreats, after school programs, as part of my dance curriculum in public school, and at a community nature center. I have experience with teaching older populations and youth ages 11-15 as well as the general adult population.
My yoga classes differ in regard to style and intensity. I enjoy vinyasa or flow yoga, gentle yoga, intermediate or all levels yoga practice, as well as more meditative centered yin yoga and yoga nidra based classes. My basic approach is an eclectic Hatha practice with aspects of Kundalini yoga and Iyengar (or alignment focused yoga).
